About

DidiCollective sells ready-made Nigerian garments and jewellery to people who want the real thing and want it to fit.

We name what it is made from

Most shops sell Nigerian cloth as “print”. We do not. Aso-oke is woven in narrow strips on Yoruba looms in Iseyin. Adire is resisted in cassava paste in Abeokuta before it ever meets indigo. Coral is strung in Benin City. Each of those is a different craft with a different history, and a piece made from one is not interchangeable with a piece made from another.

So every piece on this site says what it is made from and where that material comes from, and each material has a page of its own. If that seems like a lot of detail for a dress, it is the detail that tells you what you are buying.

Cut from XS to 3XL

Every style is cut across the full range, not the first four sizes with the rest as an afterthought. Size inclusivity is not a filter on this site; it is how the range is made.

Where we ship

We are registered in the United Kingdom and ship to the UK, Europe, the United States and Canada, and within Nigeria. Prices are charged in pounds sterling.

To confirm: this page needs your own account of how DidiCollective started, who makes for you, and why. That is the part no one else can write, and it is the part people read an About page for.
